Note, you will want Warmly faction with Bloodsabers before turnin to Lord Grimrot, Heretics before turn in to Jotayi Ibupran, etc.
If you click your burning soul, and it still gives you text, you have not completed the turn in likely due to faction issues.

- Obtain a Dark Reaver
- Slay Brother Hayle
- Loot and click on soul
- Find Lord Grimrot - MUST BE LIVING VERSION!
- Give Lord Grimrot Dark Reaver and clicked Burning Soul of the Pious - requires Bloodsabers Kindly Faction
- Kill Lord Grimrot
- Find Jotayi Ibupran in Paineel
- Give Jotayi Ibupran Pestilence Scythe (with charges, not uncharged) and Burning Soul of the Pestilent - requires Heretics Warmly Faction
- Find Inte Akera
- Give Dason Goldblade 500pp to spawn Inte Akera -- Doing so will spawn Inte Akera in the Windmill on Island 4. Inte is a Deepwater Knight of Prexus and will unleash the Oceanlord's fury upon those deemed 'evil' in their eyes. Inte Akera only stays up for a few minutes, so hustle.
- Kill Inte Akera and loot the Burning Soul of the Virtuous. Note: If you are in a group, the the soul is linked to who turns in the 500 platinum to spawn Inte.
- Give Luxio Nulsis in East Freeport the three souls and Soulfire. Requires Dismal Rage kindly faction!

- Next part requires Bloodsabers Kindly Faction.
- You can gain Bloodsabers faction by doing the Guard Shilster's Stout quest. Give 5 gold at a time to Guard Shilster (1380, -2764) in North Karana. Takes about ~3000 gold to max out.
- Find Lord Grimrot (1377, 1172) by the skeletons in South Karana. There's a living and undead version with the same name. The turn in requires the living version. It's rumored to be a 3.2 hour spawn. One of the fastest ways to spawn Lord Grimrot is to make an instance right at 6am. Use
/timeto see the in-game time. - Turn in the clicked version of Burning Soul of the Pious and Dark Reaver to the living version of Lord Grimrot.
- Lord Grimrot says, 'You have served me well. You may yet prove useful to my master.'
- Your faction standing with Bloodsabers has been adjusted by (+?).
- Your faction standing with Guards of Qeynos has been adjusted by (-15).
- Your faction standing with Opal Darkbriar has been adjusted by (+10).
- Your faction standing with Priests of Life has been adjusted by (-25).
- Your faction standing with Corrupt Qeynos Guards has been adjusted by (+?).
- You gain experience!!
- Kill the living version Lord Grimrot.
- Your faction standing with Bloodsabers has been adjusted by (-915).
- Your faction standing with Guards of Qeynos has been adjusted by (+137).
- Your faction standing with Opal Darkbriar has been adjusted by (-91).
- Your faction standing with Priests of Life has been adjusted by (+70).

- Loot the Burning Soul of the Pestilent and the Pestilence Scythe with 1 charge of Vampiric Curse. There is another Pestilence Scythe of the same name with no charges that isn't required for this quest.

- You can gain Heretics faction by killing Kobolds in The Warrens. Take about ~2 rounds of killing the entire zone.
