CHARACTER CLASSES

There are sixteen total classes in EverQuest Legends. Each class belongs to one of four archetypes: casters, priests, melee, and hybrids.

There are no experience penalties for any specific class. EverQuest Legends also allows players to mix classes, creating custom class combinations and trio builds.

CASTERS

Casters specialize in spell damage, control, pets, utility, mana tools, and magical burst.

PRIESTS

Priests provide healing, buffs, debuffs, recovery tools, utility, and group support.

MELEE

Melee classes focus on weapon-based combat, sustained damage, pulling, disciplines, positioning, and direct physical pressure.

HYBRIDS

Hybrids blend martial combat with magic, songs, pets, utility, tanking tools, tracking, and specialized group support.

CLASS MIXING

EverQuest Legends allows class combinations, giving players more flexibility than a traditional single-class setup.

For practical examples, recommended trios, strengths, weaknesses, and progression advice, see the Build Guides page.
