You say, "I know who you really are"

Dorian G`Wyn says, 'Ah, I hoped to avoid endangering you with that knowledge. I am who I claim to be in most regards. I am not, however, a human. I am an Elf. a [Half Dark Elf].` He looks about to ensure no one is watching and unclasps a bracelet he is wearing. As soon as the clasp is undone, Dorian shimmers for the briefest moment and looking at you is a different face, a new face. Clearly elven but cerulean in color, and distinct from the Elves you're familiar with.'

Dorian G`Wyn says, 'Don`t be alarmed. It`s the same me.` He quickly snaps his bracelet back on and again Human, he checks to see if anyone was looking. `My people are in hiding. We`ve always been in hiding. The world will not accept us and so we stay hidden. However since the tumult within Castle Nektropos, our safety has been [jeopardized].'

Dorian G`Wyn says, 'Activity within the castle has been different recently. And bizarre: Abnormal visitors, screams echo the halls at all hours, errant magical commotion causing chaos, the smell of death and rot. Our spies on the staff claim there are offal piles inside the castle. They say carts of corpses have been coming into the castle, and that same cart driver left with his cart empty. One claimed he saw some multi-limbed rotting horror shamble past a door way. Something is amiss in Nektropos, and I fear it involves dark magics. Whatever it is, it endangers my people's [hidden home] and something must be done to [alleviate the threat].'

Dorian G`Wyn says, 'We Half Dark Elves reside in a blocked off and forgotten section of Castle Nektropos in the basement store rooms. We call it the Undercroft. It has served as our home for as long as we can remember. The Undercroft is small, but so is our population. Most of our supplies come from the castle daily operations, from which we pilfer most of what we need. We supplement that with foraging and fishing in the nearby area under the cover of darkness. However, between this recent change in the castle and the spreading undead outside, supplies are fewer and danger abounds from all directions.'

Dorian G`Wyn says, 'I have been working franticly to find a way to end these threats. The tricky part is doing so while still keeping my people's existence hidden from the world that will never accept us. I tried alchemy, but my experiments including the most recent ones keep failing to prove effective. And so I've been quietly searching for the right contacts to petition for aid. With help from the nearby cities, I`m certain we could put an end to the undead and sort out whatever is happening behind the castle`s closed gates. You're involved now, and you would forever be an ally if you can get these requests for aid into the hands of those who may be able to field aid with discretion!'
