- Yelayna says, 'They usually are plentiful this time of year, but this is well above the normal amount. For the most part the guards keep them at bay, but the [increased numbers] has decreased traffic to our market.'
- Yelayna says, 'If I had to guess the [Everling`s] are involved, but I can't say for sure, and it's not proper to spread rumors.'
- Yelayna says, 'They stay locked up tight in their castle these days. I would too if my family had their misfortune.'

Can you imagine what being able to change the color of your house with a simple turn of a dial? To not have to get cleaned and dressed up before going out? Just activate the mechanism and suddenly you're as dapper as you've ever been! Oh, [possibilities] abound!'
- The Great Zultor says, 'There has also been some, though limited, research into combining magic into mechanical artistry. Enchantments, raw wizardry power, alchemical catalysts, conjured beings -- could all be utilized together with masterwork tinkering to achieve almost any goal. Most everything already dreamt up can be done with just the tinkering arts already. There may be no limits to what's possible. The products of such work could make gods among mortals. There simply may be [no knowable limit]!'
