Hand Dorian G`Wyn the defiled fish scale that resulted from the quest Something Fishy
- Dorian G`Wyn says, 'What's this now? Oh. Ohhh. Nikko was right to send you for help! This is extremely problematic to our cause. I may be able to mitigate the onset at least. If the underwater blighting is as strong as it is overland, slowing the progress may be all we can do. Alchemy is wonderful at many things, but it does require many and varied reagents. I'll start my study of these scales immediately, but I'll need you to fetch some supplies we will surely need if we're going to save the lake. Alchemical supplies come from a wide array of sources. For what we`re facing I will at least need some lava drake bile. Hmmm, also some Imp's blood. You should be able to source both north of here in the mountains.'
Go to Lavastorm Mountains and loot a Imp Blood from a Fire Imp, and a Fetid Bile from a Lava Drake
Deliver those items to Dorian G`Wyn
- Dorian G`Wyn says, 'Ahh, excellent! I've got a plan that I think will work, but it's going to take my full attention for some time. Saving the lake is critical but I also have several vital tasks that will now be unattended. I obviously can't leave this work half done, but its imperative to everyone here that the plans I've already set in motion succeed. I beseech thee, please [assist], for the sake of us all!'

First, the guards of Freeport swindled me and one of them stole my scroll case while they were chasing me eastward out of town! I don`t know what their problem is! I was there to meet with a certain friend at the guard headquarters but the Freeport Guard appear to be a venal bunch! I saw the one who made off with my scroll case head up onto the city walls as I was escorted outside. There are scrolls in that case that must be recovered!'

Seek her out and tell her I sent you for the analysis. Be aware, Ty'Klerr is cowardly and probably wants to back out now that we have options! She may be laying low in Neriak in an attempt to dodge some imaginary trouble. Check the seedier parts of the city, and look close because she may be using magic to aid in her hiding. Your help will let me focus on saving the lake!'
Travel to West Freeport and find Dusty Scroll Case on a table near location -119, 35, -6.
Travel to Neriak and say "Dorian sent me" to Ty`Klerr
- Ty`Klerr says, 'Dorian sent you? Why would he not come himself? Hmmm, he must not be as [ready] as he thought!'
