Roesager Thusten is the Paladin Guildmaster in the building on the right when you enter the Temple of Life complex in North Qeynos found at (-123.51, -127.12, 2.19).

Roesager Thusten says 'Niclaus Ressinn? Have you seen him? He is one of our paladins who was sent out to investigate the undead sightings in Qeynos Hills. I have a message from Jahnda for him, but I must continue my own search here in Qeynos. Could you take this to Niclaus? Your help would be appreciated.'

You receive a Note to Niclaus.

Niclaus roams across Qeynos Hills zone. Give him the note.

Niclaus Ressinn says 'Oh, things are becoming dire here in Norrath. May Rodcet protect us! I have gathered most of the evidence I will need to present to Jahnda, but I could still use your assistance with one final piece. I need to recover a rib bone from of the undead beasts that wander these hills. Be sure the rib bone comes from one of the putrid skeletons. They are the spawn of Bertoxxulous.'

Find and kill a putrid skeleton and loot a Putrid Rib Bone. Two putrid skeletons spawn in Qeynos Hills, one at 3300, 550 and the other at 2090, -850, and wander. Give the rib bone to Niclaus.

Faction tips

Went from Apprehensive to Warmly with Priests of Life within 9 total turn-ins.

Unable to initiate quest with Erudite Paladin (Prexus) at Apprehensive or low Indifferent.

Unable to get note for the 1st step, but was able to turn in both rib and pouch at dubious.

Using Skeleton form (nec call of bones) I was able to go from scowls to dubious as a dark elf and turn in bone and pouch.
