Walkthrough

The bereft McMannus family needs revenge against a cyclops.

Begin by talking to any of the McMannus barbarians in the Western Plains of Karana Barbarian fishing village in the southwest corner, and asking them about their mother who seems to be missing.

You say, 'Hail, Brenzl McMannus'

Brenzl McMannus says, 'Hail, traveler! It is good to see new faces in our fishing village. I am Brenzl McMannus. I am quite talented with wood and string. I sell the finest nets and bows in the land. Have a glance.'

You say, 'mother'

Brenzl McMannus says, 'Unfortunately, she passed away a year ago. She was killed while defending our dogs from a giant. Do not ask our father, Einhorst, about our mother, Helsa. He does not need to be reminded.'

Talk to Einhorst McMannus in one of the huts:

You say, 'Helsa'

Einhorst McMannus says, 'My wife? She is dead. Crushed by the hands of a foul cyclops. I wish I could find that cyclops. I would pay greatly for his eye. I have slain every giant I could find, but I have not met him. I could still remember that cry of his... BROOON!'

Head to the Eastern Plains of Karana, and look for Broon who spawns in the east, at the base of the ramp going into the canyon. Kill Broon, who drops Broon's Eye.

Give Broon's Eye to Einhorst McMannus.

Einhorst McMannus says, 'Finally, my wife has been avenged. Thank you, my friend! Here. May this be used in many glorious battles!'
