Upon creating a Gnome Cleric who doesn't follow Bertoxxulous, you will have a tattered note in your inventory. The note reads as follows:

Journey to the Abbey of Deep Musing, where Iony Gredlong awaits. She is the Master Cleric of the Deep Muses. Take this note to her, and she will instruct you further.

Upon handing the note to Iony Gredlong:

Iony Gredlong says, 'Welcome to the Abbey of Deep Musing. Here you can train and raise your abilities to the peak of perfection. Take this tunic and wear it with pride.'
