Description
A fearsome bipedal bear, prized as game by the Coldain for their palatable meat and warm pelts.
Commonly found in the southeast quadrant and uncommonly west of the giant fort in EW. Fear Animal and Charm Animal both work on this mob.
Since I started keeping track, here are my stats as of 12/6/2021: Kodiaks Killed: 2212 --- HQ Pelts: 77 --- Drop Rate: 3.48%
This means that statistically you should get the two pelts required for the first Coldain ring quest after killing about 58 kodiaks.
