Hey, thanks for reaching out. As we discussed on discord, that was mostly just unclear wording that I never swung back to correct. I've updated that section to be far more detailed about foraging. Hopefully the game will go live with an alternative method to raise that faction. | |||

Slansin location
For me he was actually two floors down in Vials of Vitality, behind the counter. His name was *Slansin (I'm thinking that means he's in a mode particular to my client because of a quest?) and he spawned in enchanter mode. I was amiable to Craftkeepers at the start, and I suppose I still am as there are no adjustments to them for this quest. Not sure if you want to include macros, but the following works well when targeting Fhoresian:
/say assist
/autoinv
/autoinv
One potion per press, saves clicking. Slansin will accept four vials at a time in enchanter mode.
Hope that's useful.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. I think I just futzed the directions a bit. The asterisk before his name is the norm for spawned NPCs. Not sure if that's an EQL or live specific change. I cleaned up the two Slansin entries a bit.
I don't really want to include macros at this time. I might link to User:Mazirian/Macro_Guide_by_Mazirian somewhere once I have more guides to link. I've actually found the quickest way to do this is to create two macros: one that says the quest dialogue and the other that has the /autoinventory. I bind them both to a key and then spam between them to quickly fill up my inventory. It seems to bypass a bit of the macro delay that requires having multiple autoinventory lines to fight. It also lets you use the cursor item buffer a bit more. I added that as a tip in the quest items section at the beginning.
I also have a tip about handing in as many items as an NPC will take there, but it seems people tend to skip over it. Not sure if I want to clutter the guide up even more saying that you can hand in a full inventory to NPCs in every section.

Ogre unlock and Fruit forage location
Thanks for the guide. I noticed that I was able to get foraged fruit in a number of places over the paid beta and wanted to give you the information to correct your page. I use the following macro attached to the left turn key so I forage a lot.
The main point being that you can find fruit in a lot of locations, not just Misty Thicket.
Forage Macro
/doab Forage
/autoinv
/autoinv
/timer 600
Fruit Forgeable Zones (not exhaustive)
Blackburrow, Nagafen's Lair, Najena, Nektulos Forest, Misty Thicket, The Castle of Mistmoore, The City of Guk, The Lesser Faydark, The Liberated Citadel of Runnyeye, The Ruins of Old Guk
Thanks!
