In Everquest Legends he spawns just Northeast from the Barbarian fishing village and immediately starts running around the zone. He runs northeast from his spawn, almost along a direct line between Frostbite and the Ogre camp (area 18 on the [[West Karana]] map). He then turns south, then turns northeast again and runs through the inn and shops at area 21.  He then keeps running around in the northern part of the zone.  He runs slow so if you have any run speed boost you will likely catch him on the way to the Ogre camp, or can beat him there and wait just south of the camp for him to arrive.
In Everquest Legends he has at least two spawn points on the western side of the zone. Once he spawns, he immediately starts running around the zone up in the mountainous northern area. He runs past the Ogre camp (area 18 on the [[West Karana]] map), so if you don't have tracking this might be a good landmark to watch for him. But as far as I can tell, once he sawns, he just keeps running around in the northern part of the zone.

Description

Basil is the easier of the two enemies spawned by the Langseax quest. He spawns significantly more often and is drastically easier than his counterpart, Paglan. T

In Everquest Legends he has at least two spawn points on the western side of the zone. Once he spawns, he immediately starts running around the zone up in the mountainous northern area. He runs past the Ogre camp (area 18 on the West Karana map), so if you don't have tracking this might be a good landmark to watch for him. But as far as I can tell, once he sawns, he just keeps running around in the northern part of the zone.
