Description
None of the drakes are social with one another, so it's perfectly safe to pull past or even fight beside another drake. There seems to be a few spawn points within the area on a fast spawn, however after killing several rounds of different drakes (varying types between level 10 - 23), including a few "a basalt drake" they seemed to stop spawning. So it seems likely that they share the spawn point with other non-drake spawns in the area.
The region I found them is around the loc coordinates listed above, which is between the Troll Shrine (point 10) and Lizard Man camp (point 9) on the Rathe Mountains map.
(Epic quest information - not relevant to current Everquest Legends) Rharzar's PH is "a drake" and it roams right in front of the A Basalt Drake spawn point. If "a drake" is up, you may want to avoid killing it to avoid spawning Rharzar.
Everquest Legends Note: In older versions of Everquest, there were spawns around (-1687, 5) and (-1280,740). However, these spawn points are now part of the Froglok starting area.
