| With 3 classes in every loadout, it can be difficult to keep track of every spell that goes with every situation, and switching between combat, buff, travel, and utility spells can take up a lot of time and energy.
| | Zones are huge. |
|
| |
|
| However, it's possible to save batches of spells to help keep track of everything, and even set macros to speed everything up. It's much quicker to switch to another hotbar page, press a hotkey, and load a set of spells. Cast Quick Buff, press another hotkey to load the spells for the current activity, and get back into the action.

|
| To save the current set of spells, load up the spell bar with the desired spells, then right-click the little book icon on the spell bar to see the menu. Click "Save spell set", then give it a unique name and confirm. Each set requires a unique name. Leaving spell gems empty is also an option for specific purposes as mentioned below.

|
| |
|
| The spell sets can be loaded from that same right-click menu, but macros are also possible to make it even faster:

| When loading that set, your character will sit down, forget any spell that doesn't match the set, and memorize the spells from the set. If a spell set has a currently loaded spell in a different slot, it will be forgotten from the current slot, and re-memorized in the new slot. If the set has empty spell gems, it won't forget the spells in those gems unless (they're memmed in other gems in the set).

| I have a "Base" set, a "Perm" set, a "Buff" set, a "Short" set (for short spells that I need to refresh sooner than the main buffs), an "Invis" set, an "IvU" set (those both only have the single spells in the sets), a "Temp" set, and a couple sets that are specific for my build.
| |
| | |
| All those sets have macros for them.
| |
| | |
| If I die or switch loadouts, I tap the Perm macro, cast them, then tap the Short and Buff macros (which add up to 14 spells), quick buff, then tap the Base macro and have my usual 14 combat spells loaded. It's way easier and I have 14 spells to choose from during combat. Sometimes the order I cast the buffs in changes if I need crap buffs for dispelling mobs, etc.
