| There have been occasional reports of him spawning elsewhere, but in ~4 1/2 hours of repeating this quest both [[Basil]] and [[Paglan]] spawned near #16 on the [[West Karana]] map and wandered slightly around that mountain top every single time. Basil is soloable by a level 24 barbarian warrior with shop bought 13/51 two handed hammer and 71 worn AC.
