Description
Can be spawned in by Overseer Rael as levels 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 63, 65, 68, or 70.
Can be hailed and have a lot of options:
- Test Forty says, 'Greetings! I am here to spar with you and have a wide range of functionality for you to utilize at your discretion. You may ask me to [release me] or to [dismiss all] of the sparring partners you may currently be using. You may ask me to turn attack [on] or [off]. You may ask me to turn my ability to replenish your mana and endurance when you cast spells or use abilities [on] or [off]. You may ask me to [freeze] or [unfreeze] your buff duration timers. You my ask me to modify my [combat stats]. I can also cast [MotM] on myself.'
Commands
Release
- 'I release you' despawns the specific test dummy you have targeted.
- 'Dismiss All' despawns all test dummies spawned for you.
Attack
- 'Attack on' will cause the test dummy to attack you - however, it will wait for you to attack first. It will not move to you, you have to be in melee range for it to attack you. Additionally, while attacking you, it will occasionally cast Full Heal on whoever it is attacking.
- 'Attack off' will cause the test dummy to stop attacking.
Replenish
- 'Replenish On' will cause you to regain all your mana and endurance every few seconds (maybe every tick?) so that you can do extended testing without running out of mana or endurance.
- 'Replenish Off' will turn off the mana/endurance replenishment.
Buff Timers
- 'Freeze Buffs' will cause all your buff timers to stop counting down, allowing you to test for long periods without losing buffs. This will cause Heal Over Time spells to never wear off, they will however still heal at each tick and can still get critical heals. This setting has no effect on Damage over Time or other debuff spells.
- 'Unfreeze Buffs' will cause your buffs to start counting down. They will continue to countdown from where they paused.
Combat Stats
The following commands can be used repeatedly but there's no way to tell how high or low they go other than attacking the dummy and seeing if they're tougher/easier.
- 'Increase/Decrease Resists' will raise or lower resists.
- 'Increase/Decrease Mitigation' will raise or lower mitigation (AC).
- 'Increase/Decrease Offense' will raise or lower their chance to hit you.
- 'Increase/Decrease Minimum Damage' will raise or lower their minimum damage.
- 'Increase/Decrease Base Damage' will raise or lower their overall damage.
Mitigation of the Mighty
This seems to allow the dummy increase its stats and abilities to those on par with raid bosses from different Everquest Eras, along with a buff called Mitigation of the Mighty that reduces incoming damage. There doesn't seem to be an obvious way to make them turn it back off. May be forced to dismiss and summon a new one.
- 'Use MotM1' - Classic Everquest Raid Tier
- 'Use MotM Plane of Sky' - Plane of Sky Tier
- 'Use MotM2' - Kunark Raid Boss Tier
- 'Use MotM3' - Velious Raid Boss Tier
- 'Use MotM4' - Luclin Raid Boss Tier
- 'Use MotM5' - Planes of Power Raid Boss Tier
