Darkforge Armor is a set of Shadow Knight specific armor obtained through quests offered in the The Temple of Solusek Ro by the Undead Knights. It could not originally be used by Iksar, but this racial restriction has been removed.

Each piece of Darkforge armor requires two pieces of Decayed Armor. These drop form A Lizard Crusader and A Lizard Ritualist in the Temple of Cazic-Thule. You will also need one other item from around the world.

In EQL, the most reliable way to farm the decayed armor is to focus on A Lizard Ritualist, who has a static spawn on top of a small temple at the SouthEast corner of the zone. You can use Invis to run past all of the other lizards, kill him and any adds, switch to another difficulty, and do it again. It's also helpful to bind just outside the zone and to Gate over and kill him in base difficulty and another difficulty quickly then return to other tasks.

Take note when turning in the items that there are two undead knights in the same room, each offers only certain pieces of the Darkforge Armor in return for the hand-ins, hail them to find out which pieces they can forge.

The undead knight to the LEFT (say: I seek the darkforge armor) makes: Helm, Breastplate, Vambraces and Bracers.

The undead knight to the RIGHT (say: I seek the darkforge armor) makes: Gauntlets, Greaves and Boots.
