<big>As of 8/18/26 this quest is NOT able to be completed on EQL. Collier is nowhere to be found in Erudin.</big>

Collier may be found at (-1170, -70, 83) in Erudin, on the top floor of the Vasty Deep Inn.

You say, 'Hail, Collier'

: Collier says 'Make it a habit of walking into peoples rooms now do ya? Well seeing as I'm here on business I may have a [proposition] for you.'

You say, 'What is the proposition?'

: If your faction is too low:

: Collier says 'You need to prove your dedication to our cause before I can discuss such matters with you.'

: If your faction is high enough (indifferent):

: Collier says 'I'm in the employment of an alchemist that desires some rare venom from this region of Norrath. I will reward you with a special weapon treatment if you can return to me with a venomous spikefish poison sac, an ancient poison sac, an ancient snake fang, and the blood of a necromancer.'

You say, 'What special weapon treatment?'

: Collier says 'My employer has uncovered the secrets of the Bloodclaw and can reproduce the weapon treatment used in the forging of the legendary Stiletto of the Bloodclaw.'

He wants:

<ol>
<li>Ancient Snake Fang - drops off Slyder the Ancient in Stonebrunt Mountains</li>
<li>Ancient Venom Sack - drops off Slyder the Ancient in Stonebrunt Mountains</li>
<li>Venomous Spikefish Poison Sac - extremely rare drop off Venomous Spikefish in Kerra Island</li>
<li>Necromancer Blood - drops off Heretic Invaders in Stonebrunt Mountains</li>
</ol>

Collier gives back a Thick Caustic Liquid which is tradeable, along with the text reply to the effect of: "There is the weapon treatment I promised you. Use it in a forge with any standard forged weapon. Choose your preferred weapon carefully as there is only enough of the substance for a single treatment."
: Collier says, 'Here is the weapon treatment that I have promised you. Use it with any standard forged weapon. Choose your preferred weapon carefully as there is only enough of the substance for a single treatment.'

The reward varies depending upon which weapon you use:

* Forged Battle Axe yields Bloodclaw Battle Axe.
* Forged Dagger yields Bloodclaw Dagger.
* Forged Long Sword yields Bloodclaw Long Sword. (This is the best ratio)
* Forged Mace yields Bloodclaw Mace - (The Mace is not a MAGIC item, and as a result, inferior to the others.)
* Forged Rapier yields Bloodclaw Rapier.
* Forged Scimitar yields Bloodclaw Scimitar. (Druid usable)

Weapons that do not work:

* Forged Warhammer does not work.
