<div style="font-size:110%; line-height:1.6; max-width:900px; margin:0 auto; text-align:center;">
There are '''sixteen total classes''' in EverQuest Legends. Each class belongs to one of four archetypes: '''casters''', '''priests''', '''melee''', and '''hybrids'''.
</div>

<div style="font-size:105%; line-height:1.6; max-width:900px; margin:10px auto 0 auto; text-align:center; color:#d6d6c0;">
There are no experience penalties for any specific class. EverQuest Legends also allows players to mix classes, creating custom class combinations and trio builds.

EverQuest Legends allows class combinations, giving players more flexibility than a traditional single-class setup.

For practical examples, recommended trios, strengths, weaknesses, and progression advice, see the [[Build_Guides|<span style="color:#b9c8ff;">Build Guides</span>]] page.
