They have an instant knockback ability that can be used at any range and a short cast lifetap, though despite having these abilities they don't have a mana pool, and as such [[Theft of Thought]] doesn't work.

Some level variance I believe; a rather tough one resisted [[Trepidation]] 7x, but on a weaker one it landed without fail.
