|notes = Spider silk (and the refined Silk Swatch) are valued by journeyman tailors looking to increase their skill. It's especially efficient to farm these in Field of Bone, East Karana and anywhere else large numbers of spiders (not spiderlings) can be found.

Not to be confused with Spiderling Silk harvested from the weaker a spiderling.

Hunting Notes
9/24/2026:
The best place to hunt these is East Karana, near the entrance pathway to Highhold. They mostly show up along the plains and up the mountain to the south. Crag Spiders can drop up to 6 silks at a time. Respawn is fairly fast. (Kills: 41 crag/11 carrion Looted: 114)
